Why the Urus is the Lamborghini to rent here
Dubai is Lamborghini's natural habitat, but the model choice matters more than visitors expect. A Huracan is a weekend event; the Urus is a Lamborghini you can actually live with for a week. Around 650 hp from a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, 0–100 km/h in about 3.6 seconds — and at the same time four doors, a real boot for airport luggage, seats for friends, ride height that survives hotel ramps and tall speed bumps, and air conditioning that wins against August. It draws the same phone cameras on Sheikh Zayed Road while letting you do the school-run practicalities of an actual trip.
Price and what it includes
At Lucent the Lamborghini Urus is AED 2,580 per day plus 5% VAT — and that is the entire transaction. Included: comprehensive insurance, 250 km of driving per day, free delivery anywhere in Dubai (hotel, villa, DXB or DWC arrivals) in about an hour, and up to two additional drivers at no charge. No deposit is blocked at any point; if a traffic fine appears during your dates, it is billed afterwards at cost with the official reference. On a monthly booking the rate drops to roughly 18 daily rates — around AED 46,500 for 30 days.
Requirements
- Minimum age 23 (Lucent's supercar-class rule; the rest of the fleet is 21).
- Passport and a valid national licence; visitors from Russia and other CIS countries also need an International Driving Permit. US, UK, EU and GCC licences work directly.
- Payment by international card, Russian card, USDT/BTC/ETH or cash.
Routes that justify the car
- Sheikh Zayed Road at dusk. The skyline canyon from Trade Centre to Marina is the classic — go after 20:00 when traffic thins and Salik drops to AED 4.
- Palm Jumeirah. The trunk road, a loop of the crescent past Atlantis, photo stop at the Pointe. Speed limits are low; this one is about the scenery, not the throttle.
- Jumeirah Beach Road. Relaxed cruising past the kite beach with the Burj Al Arab as a backdrop.
- Al Qudra / desert roads. Empty, smooth tarmac through real dunes, 40 minutes out. Two honest warnings: sand drifts across the road cut grip suddenly, and camels wander onto it — a camel strike is a catastrophic accident. Daylight, moderate speed, eyes up. And to be clear: the Urus stays on tarmac — dune driving is off-limits for rentals without a separate agreement.
- Hatta day trip. Mountain sweepers 130 km out. Superb drive, but the round trip alone is about 280 km — plan the mileage allowance with us in advance.
